Great Place GM Webinar: Creative Ageing

Great Place GM was a 3 year action research programme led by GMCA and funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England. This webinar explores the theme of Creative Ageing including; what makes a thriving, creative ageing ecosystem; how to support older artists to thrive; the successes, challenges and learning from the roll out of our flagship project, Culture Champions and how creativity can challenge narratives around ageing. Speakers include; Paul McGarry, director of GM Ageing Hub, Elaine Unegbu, chair of the Greater Manchester Older People’s Network; Maya Chowdhry; interactive artist and Steve Connor, CE of Creative Concern.
